DEPARTMENT OF AGADA TANTRA EVUM VIDHI VAIDYAK
OVERVIEW
Department of Agada Tantra Evum vidhi vaidyak is one among the clinical departments which provides educational inputs to the second year undergraduate BAMS students. This department deals with medical ethics and law, toxicology & Forensic medicine, management of bite cases, skin disorders arising due to toxicity and allergy etc.
The department is fully equipped with a museum having various weapons, specimens, models, charts etc where students learn the concept of Agada Tantra Evum vidhi vaidyak. Along with museum a tutorial room is there, fully reached with teaching and learning facilities.
The main objectives of this department is to produce and contribute in producing skilled legal medical Practitioners and to develop clinical skills.

Agada Tantra Evum vidhi vaidyak is an integral part of ayurveda which deals comprehensively about the study of characters and treatment of toxic substances from different origins, study of different modes of death in connection with forensic medicine, signs and symptoms due to their poisoning etc
