Roganidana and Vikriti vijnana is an important clinical subject due its unique approach towards Ayurvedic diagnostics. Second professional part teaches Roganidana and vikriti vijnana. This subject is dealing with the factors that cause manifestation of diseases. It intends to adopt Ayurvedic diagnostics among graduates in their routine practice. This subject deals with clinical examination, objective assessment, planning relevant investigation, diagnosis, prognosis and management. Clinical methods are taught at in-patient department as the diagnostic accuracy depends on thorough knowledge of both theoretical and practical. Lab investigations such as hematology, biochemistry, microbiology are taught theoretically and practically to make the diagnosis more helpful.
